Paul Chapman PhotoDo you want to go home? Yes, home to heaven? I’m sure like me, your answer is yes. So let’s go.

When our Lord was here on earth He told us that “this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.” (Matt 24:14) That means that as soon as all the world hears the wonderful message of salvation, you and I can go home!

As I’ve considered these thoughts, I’ve been impressed that I could do a lot more for others than I have. How about you? Jesus says to us:

“Every true disciple is born into the kingdom of God as a missionary. He who drinks of the living water becomes a fountain of life. The receiver becomes a giver.”– The Desire of Ages, p. 195

“Were every one of you a living missionary, the message for this time would speedily be proclaimed in all countries, to every people and nation and tongue.”–Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 438

This is our work:

“To save souls should be the life work of every one who professes Christ.” –Testimonies, vol. 4, p. 53.

I encourage you to consider these thoughts seriously. We have a great opportunity before us. To see the message of the everlasting gospel go throughout Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding Islands should be our primary objective.

The AUC Missionary Department is committed to supporting all of our fields and conferences within our territory to this end. We are always open to suggestions and plans as to how we can better help your field carry out missionary work. Here are some of the ways that we may be able to assist you:

Remember, “Not more surely is the place prepared for us in the heavenly mansions than is the special place designated on earth where we are to work for God.”–“Christ’s Object Lessons,” pp. 326, 327.

Let us know how we can help you find that place designated for you and the members of your church. With the love for Jesus filling your heart, I encourage you keep pressing onward and upward. God bless.

Yours in the Blessed Hope,

Paul Chapman,
AUC Missionary Department Leader.
