Jindabyne Trip
Well as for sight seeing, it was great, and what a wonder it is to see
God’s creation! I saw each tree, flower and various plants. You
can see the way that each one grows, and there are no two the same, and
let us remember who was the Creator of it all. If we go back to the first
book of the Bible, in Genesis 1:11-12 we read, “And God said, Let
the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree
yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:
and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding
seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself,
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
During this trip we could see that God has a wonderful creation which
He has given for us to look at and to enjoy ourselves in its surroundings.
It was a wonderful time, and although it was the second time I have been
to Jindabyne, it was really wonderful to spend time together with family
and friends. It’s also a great way to get out of the cities and
to spend that time in God’s wonderful presence.
What a great Sabbath! Outdoors, in the wonderful sunlight, we took time
out to enjoy the coolness of the air, and were able to have a wonderful
lunch as well - I must say it was very nice. We also climbed the tallest
mountain in Australia, well, what an achievement! It did not matter if
there were some that were slow or fast to the top, the best part was that
we all got there in the end. It is interesting to know that the way to
heaven is not always to the swift or to the slow, but it comes as a reward
to those who patiently press on, who will all then meet at the same place.
It was a great time, and coming home was a bit sad having to leave a wonderful
place. Hope to see you there next time we go…
