In Memory of Sister Alma Wooden

Alma Ida Esmeralda Wooden (nee Hughes) was laid to rest on Monday, 10 September, 2012 at the Wagga Wagga Monumental Cemetery after a service at the SDA Church in Wagga Wagga. Alma had two sisters (Merle, Gladys) and two brothers (Jack, Bill) one being her twin – Bill. The family recalled the happy times together at the home farm whilst growing up. Alma’s love of music was clearly portrayed with a number of songs and hymns sung during the funeral service. Alma always loved to share her hope of heaven with its pearly gates and the city of diamonds. She was often heard reciting Bible verses and poems.

Now Alma is sleeping in the grave until the resurrection day when her Lord comes and raises His own to eternal life – where no one grows old but will have eternal youth.
