Youth Focus Meetings (YFM) are normally held on the first Sabbath evening of each month. During the month of May, the YFM was held at Brother Matthias and Sister Lizy Thiel’s home. Thank you for opening your home to us.
During this meeting we analysed the experience of Felix, specifically the verse found in Acts 24:25,“And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.”
The youth were divided into groups of 3-4 people and each group was asked to analyse what they understood by the words:
- Reasoned of righteousness
- Temperance
- Judgment to come
The urgency of responding to God’s call when we hear it for the first time was very much brought home to each one that was present; now is the time, as a convenient season may never happen again in the future.
