The Australasian Medical Missionary Department of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement is excited to announce that it is able to offer a one year Medical Missionary course during 2012 and 2013. This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge required to become inspired to take up the Medical Missionary work in their respective areas.
The course will be offered in conjunction with an external professional Australian Natural Medicine College. The coursework will be offered via distant education, where students can study in the comfort of their own homes. There will be four one week training sessions held throughout the duration of the course at Elim Heights Youth Camp in NSW. These training sessions will provide students with their course materials, study criteria, exam supervisions and offer experience in practical training.
Each student who successfully completes their respective assignments and exams will receive accredited module certificates in Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology and Herbal Medicine which are professionally recognized within Australia. Each student who successfully completes the coursework and final exam will also receive a certificate of completion in the Medical Missionary Course.
