The Venue
Situated along the shores of Lake Victoria, Lakewood Park offers a serene environment surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.
Facilities include dormitory accommodation and a main lodge with multipurpose area. Dorms sleep up to 6 per room in bunks.
Youth Activities
Available activites include the following:
- Ropes course – A climbing and balance challenge with a flying fox at the end
- Canoeing – Grab an oar and enjoy canoeing the large private lake at Lakewood Park
- Raft building – Learn teamwork as you race to construct a raft with a group of your friends.
- Lake tour – Sightseeing around Lake Victoria on the Lakes Odyssey, Lakewood Park’s own passenger boat. (Numbers and weather permitting; a small fee may apply)

Lakewood Park is about 295 kilometres, or 3.5 hours drive, east of Melbourne.

Directions
- From Melbourne, take the Princes Hwy toward Bairnsdale
- On entering Bairnsdale, take the Paynesville turnoff
- Follow the road for 10km to the junction of Lake Victoria Rd, turn right
- Go straight ahead 4.5km and you will be at the Lakewood Park gate.
