In the month of March 2012 the Western Australian Field conducted a series of outreach programs over 2 weekends. The first weekend revolved around a health outreach for the public in the area of Gosnells. This outreach involved cooking demonstrations conducted by the local members along with health lectures by Br. Alasdair Pow. A good number of members from the Guildford church in WA were involved in planning and organizing the health program. Some were demonstrating the vegetarian dishes while others were working in the kitchen. Others were serving the dishes to the gathering and yet others will taking registrations and running a book and refreshment stalls. Overall the outreach was a team effort and had a good response from the public participants. The health lectures centred around the subject of discovering super foods to help in the fight with cancer.
The second weekend of outreach continued to focus on the community of Gosnells. The program consisted of prophecies related directly to the first and second advents of our Lord Jesus Christ. A good number from the health program came to listen to the messages and all the attendees seemed to receive it positively. We thank the Lord for his leading in giving this opportunity to share the gospel message of health and prophecy with the community.
