Vanuatu Church Dedications & Pacific Leaders Forum

In November, Vanuatu Mission Field hosted the Pacific Leaders Forum, with representatives from PNG, Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Australia, and of course Vanuatu, in attendance. The Pacific Regional Secretary, Br Rolly Dumaguit was also present for the meetings, which discussed the needs of the Pacific Mission Fields, including a proposal for the establishment of a Pacific Union. NSW Conference Camp Meeting 2012

The New South Wales Conference camp meeting was conducted during the Queen’s birthday long weekend in June 2102. Despite the cooler weather the camp was very well attended with a number of interstate visitors coming down to share in the fellowship time. Elim Missionary College 2012 Graduation

During the NSW Conference camp meeting of June 2012, a graduation ceremony was held for the Elim Missionary College's 2012 students. Br Peter Lausevic presided over the graduation ceremony where the students were given their graduation certificates. The students were also given time to share their experiences with the congregation. One student, Br Juan Ricardo Amaya has now commenced a 12 month internship, as part of the full four year Trainee Gospel Worker program. Other students are already being engaged…

Cooking Demonstrations Griffith – NSW Conference

On the 7th of May, the Coleambally church group gathered in Griffith for a public vegetarian cooking demonstration. Alasdair Pow started with a health talk on optimal nutrition. When he finished the talk, the ladies came out from the kitchen, and introduced themselves to the 35 people that had booked in to learn about cooking gluten free recipes. Johnny Gules is now our brother in Christ. On 25th March, 2012 many came to see and offer support to their dear friend as he took the step in baptism, recognizing Jesus as the Lord of his life and covenanting to follow Him. Vegetarian Way Cooking Demonstration – NSW

  On the 12th, 19th & 26th September 2011 the Sydney members were able to hold another series of cooking demonstrations. These cooking demonstrations have previously been held in a community center about twenty minutes away from the Union office at Schofields. Prayer Request for Br John Ciric

We have been greatly saddened by the news of Br John Ciric's hospitalization due to serious health issues. Br Ciric underwent brain surgery on July 7, 2011 and again on July 15, 2011. Sadly, he suffered a stroke after the first operation. This left him paralyzed down the right side of his body and is unable to talk. Reports received to date indicate his recovery will be very slow. We were thankful to hear recently that he has been transferred…

NSW Spiritual Conference

Elim Heights was a busy hive of activity on Friday afternoon June 10 as preparations were underway for the opening of the 2011 NSW Spiritual Conference. Many hands make light work, so while sound and recording equipment was being set up in the church hall, the kitchen was also full of helpers preparing the evening meal. From the 11th – 31st of March, 2011 Elim Missionary College conducted an Evening Missionary Training Seminar in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The seminar was led by Br Peter D. Floods in Australia – Update

In what has become another catastrophic summer for Australia, large portions of the country which have endured drought conditions for the past 10 years have now experienced torrential rain and flooding. Missionary Training Program 2010

Sunday, February 7 marked the beginning of a new experience for the nine enthusiastic students who enrolled in the Australasian Union Conference Missionary Training Program 2010.  This four-month missionary training course was held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
