Regional News – New Caledonia

In early April of this year, Br Brian Jaksic together with Br John Ciric made a visit to New Caledonia where they met with our church members on the island of Mare to assist in the reorganization of the work there. Vanuatu – Seminars June 2011

Br Brian Jaksic reports of his June 2011 visit to Vanuatu. He conducted five day seminar mainly on the Last Day Events, including The Sealing Message and The Investigative Judgment. On Sabbath 75 people were in attendance. Br Luke Kneebone reports of encouraging response to a number of meetings he was able to conduct while on the fly-and-build projects. Fellowshipment of Br Bruce Powell, Schofields NSW

On Sabbath, July 16 2011, Schofields Church members welcomed Br Bruce Powell officially into the membership of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement. Br Powell's talents in video ministry will be greatly valued as we endeavour to proclaim the wonderful message of Reformation together. Please keep him and his ministry in your prayers.

Samoan Mission Field – Wedding January 2011

In January 2011, Sr Viola Seu Falalilo and Br Suaesi Moe joined hands in holy wedlock at our local Faleasi'u Church, on the Samoan island of Upolo. Despite the rainy weather, church members and family were full of joy and happiness as they gathered to witness the event. Infant Dedication VIC-TAS Field – Jemima Ella Szabo

On May 21, 2011 the brethren of Maranatha Church, Victoria witnessed the dedication of a precious baby. Jemima Ella Szabo was born to Br Joe and Sr Brigita Szabo on 6 November 2010, 100 days premature and weighing just under 500 grams. USA Storms Update

  No doubt we have been alarmed by the ferocity of the storms lashing the USA during the past week. Many lives have been lost and much devastation suffered. It further serves to remind us that we are indeed living at the end of time.   Our prayers go out to all who have been affected by these storms. Special Prayers for Pakistan Brethren

“We are asking Reformers around the world to keep the brethren in Pakistan in their special prayers. A second domestic missionary in Pakistan has been charged by the dreaded blasphemy law known as 295-C. This Sabbath we are asking for special prayers for Brethren Shamir and Pervez. EMC – NSW Missionary Seminar

From the 11th – 31st of March, 2011 Elim Missionary College conducted an Evening Missionary Training Seminar in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The seminar was led by Br Peter D. Lausevic and its purpose, according to the invitation, was to “teach members and visitors how to give Bible studies as well as address doctrinal questions”. Maranatha Church Building Project

Due to the growth in membership our brethren in Melbourne are working towards establishing a second house of worship in Victoria. Having already organised as the Maranatha Church, they recently purchased a block of land on which to build. The land is in a prime location, just off the Hume Freeway north of Melbourne. By God’s grace most of the money to purchase the property was raised in local donations, and a loan was taken for the remainder. The church…

Obituaries – Sr Maria Korchynsky

We have been saddened in recent weeks with the death of three of our beloved brethren: Sis. Esther Southwell, Sis. Maria Korchynsky and Bro. Bruce Gordon. They were all dearly loved by their families and friends. While we will miss them greatly, we take comfort in the promise that they now rest in Christ awaiting the blessed hope of the resurrection. “Great Controversy” Book Campaign – QLD Update

Our local church members in Woombye, on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, report a very encouraging response to the “The Great Controversy” Free Book offer. Last month 2800 flyers offering the book to those interested in current events in the light of Bible prophecy were distributed throughout the surrounding suburbs of our church community. So far the brethren report 17 requests for the book. This is a response rate of 1 for every 165 flyers that were delivered. This is also…
