Baptism – Sifu Tamua & Masiki Uaita – NZ Field
On the 15th of May, 2102, church members, family and friends gathered in Invercargil (situated at the bottom end of New Zealand’s South Island) to witness the baptisms of two dear brothers in Christ. Despite the icy cold weather (with snow falling at 300 metres), Br Sifu Tamua (left image) and Br Masiki Uaita (right image), both of Samoan heritage, braved the watery grave in making public their stand with Christ. These dear souls had been visited and studied with…

Christchurch Earthquake Update
On the afternoon of February 22nd, 2011, Bro. Matthias Thiel, New Zealand Field Leader, reported that we have two members and one regular church visitor living in the area of Christchurch. All are safe. We are told that the church visitor was staying in a two storey building, and as the earthquake struck, rushed down outside, only to see the SDA Independent Samoan church next door come crashing down right before his eyes. Two days after the earthquake, Bro. Mathias Thiel reported “We thank…

New Zealand Field Spiritual Camp 2005
Our dear Saviour often taught in parables, to help all to see truth in a clearer light. "…Many failed of grasping at once the meaning of his parables; but as they day by day came in contact with the objects with which the Great Teacher had associated spiritual truths, some discerned the lessons of divine truth he had sought to impress, and these were convinced of the truth of his mission and converted to the gospel." (SSW, 1 Dec 1909)…
